Shocking revelation in tell-all book Hot Right Now: Rita Ora, is causing some unwanted attention that will expose the pop sensations sexual relationship at age 14 to a 26 year old man. Ora, who has four No.1 singles and a hit album, is currently an X Factor judge and in charge of the female category in this years quest for the next pop star. Besides all that, the Body on Me singer is a role model to millions.
During a 2013 interview with Lifetime TV, the rising star says it happened when she was a student at London's Sylvia Young Theatre School and admitted that she felt stronger because of what was happening with the older man. She says, "I don't want to say that I suffered it, because I wanted it. I don't want to say that I was forced to do it. I don't want people to think I was abused as a kid but I was definitely more mature than I should have been at 14," the Sun reports.
The singer was just as candid about how tough it is to find the right man when you've gained success and how she struggled to find men not put off by her wealth and fame. She explained, "It is very intimidating. It's money. Money can be intimidating, money can be scary, money can be powerful." Rita admits she has a mixed view of men. She said: "You're looking for a cuddle. Everybody loves a spoon. So when you're looking for a relationship, you're looking for that. The man has to be so secure with himself to be able to accept the fact that the woman only needs him for his comfort, his cuddles and his amazing p****."
After signing with Roc Nation, Ora was linked to rapper Drake - the writer of her hit single "RIP," while dating Rob Kardashian and allegedly added "wifey" model Cara Delevingne, Kosovan rapper Ledri Vula, Calvin Harris, Tommy Hilfiger's son Rick Hil and new beau, Travis Barker.
As if it couldn't get any worse, the "Poison" serial dater has had many unsolicited comments from around the world about her experience. A spokesperson for the UK's National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children told The Daily Mail, "Those in the public eye should think about the effect their words can have on those who look up to them." When asked about the biography, a rep for Ora told Page Six, "Rita did not cooperate with this book, we have no further comment."
