Jake Bugg is at it again. Last night at the NME Awards, Bugg continued his One Direction bashing. Bugg went as far as to say about Harry Styles, "Probably the ugliest one is the best singer. He might know a couple of chords." This after he was quoted in Shortlist magazine as calling One Direction "terrible."

After One Direction won for "Worst Band," the 19-year-old British singer was asked if he was happy One Direction won the dubious award, which Bugg used to add insult to injury.

"I don't know how they can really be considered a band though to be honest."

Bugg went on to criticize One Direction with backhanded compliments. Bugg told reporters, "They're there to look good." The star of "Lightning Bolt" added, "Music wise? I assume they don't really have a clue. We'll just see. They might do."

Ouch! I don't think Bugg will be getting an invite to any One Direction concerts any time soon. I'm not sure how much of this is Bugg attempting to ride off One Direction's fame and how much of this is really his personal opinion on the band. Either way, Bugg used the NME Awards as an opportunity to further his feud.

Bugg told ITV News, "I don't know how they can really be considered a band, though to be honest. I'm not too sure. I think the more I play on it, it'll wind them up."

Then when a reporter asked if Bugg thought the band's success justified their place in the music industry, the singer landed another verbal blow.

"Probably the ugliest one is the best singer. He might know a couple of chords."

Now Bugg is going too far. You can criticize their music, but you don't criticize their looks. However, One Direction didn't take Bugg's insults without a response. Louis Tomlinson responded on Twitter by saying, "Hi @JakeBugg do you think slagging off boy bands makes you more indie?"

Now we have a good ole fashioned musical feud. Whose side are you on Mstarz fans?
