Kim Kardashian Baby Gender Girl? Mommy Blogs about 'Perfect Maternity Jeans,' Kanye West's Baby Mama Stays Mum on Gender

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are having a baby girl! Although this baby Kimye news was revealed earlier in the week by Us Weekly who quoted close sources of the celebrity couple, neither the reality star nor her rapper boyfriend has yet to confirm their baby's gender.

While Kim tweets about everything from her latest photo shoots to the Kardashian clothes line in Sears, "It's a Girl" has yet to appear on Kim's Twitter page or her "Mommy Blog". The couple is supposedly "over the moon" about the news, especially since Kanye always wanted a girl.

"When the time is right, she'll confirm it herself," Kim's spokesperson told E! News on Wednesday.

Maybe her delay in revealing has something to do with her new-found appreciation for "privacy" that Kanye has taught her.

As Kardashian announced herself back in January, the couple's baby will be due in July. Until then, Kardashian fans can read up on "all things baby" on the star's newly launched "Mommy Blog" on her personal website, according to CeleBuzz.

Kim's first "Mommy Blog" entry on Monday was about "mom jeans" and which maternity brands are the best to wear while pregnant.

"With this being my first pregnancy I've been finding it really difficult to find clothes that are comfortable and fit me well, but these are great," she wrote, referring to a pair of J-Brand jeans. They are these super comfy maternity jeans with soft, stretchy side panels in the front and they are absolutely amazing!"

Until now, Us Weekly notes that Kardashian has shied away from typical maternity wear, choosing instead to flaunt her pregnancy curves in tight dresses, leather pants, and see-through blouses. Last week, she stepped out in a pair of high-waisted, peplum pants with a metallic sheen, which she paired with a black cropped turtleneck. And at a Feb. 24 Oscars party, she draped her bump in a super-glam white gown with a plunging neckline (by Donna Karan) that showed off her ample cleavage.

It can be assumed that baby girl Kimye will be as well dressed as her fashion-focused parents. "If anyone knows Kanye, they just know how into fashion he is, and I think he's going to have things specially made," the mom-to-be said of the rapper on Jimmy Kimmel Live in January. "So I don't think hand-me-downs are going to work."

Maybe the star's next "Mommy Blog" will confirm the gender of her baby, but for now the star's maternity fashion is priority over the other little pregnancy detail.
