They were on the short list of teams in the top five of both categories, alongside San Antonio, before all the injuries. So let's see how long it takes 'em to return."

The Pacers are ranked no 1 in the Eastern Central Conference and currently hold the no 4 spot in the 2012-2013 NBA Regular Season this week (out of 30 teams) with 36 wins and 21 losses. As Stein points out, "The Pacers just became the first team in NBA history to win its first two games after the All-Star break by 30 points or more. Which certainly didn't do anything to hurt Indy's claim that, with or without Danny Granger, it deserves to be known as the East's most legit threat to the Heat." Tonight's face-off on the court should prove a fierce battle between two of the East's best teams.
