Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback and former Real Housewives of Atlanta reality star, Kordell Stewart is suing the "I'm not gay no more" viral sensation, Andre Caldwell for calling him gay during an interview and later retracting the story.
The former NFL star field a lawsuit in Georgia citing, "false and defamatory," according to the AJC.
Recently, the Shade Room released the audio apology from Caldwell, denying his claims of an affair with Stewart, "I want to personally apologize to Kordell Stewart for mentioning his name and making false accusations." He explained that he never knew the former NFL star and added, "From the bottom of my heart I do apologize and I'm sincerely sorry and I will not be going on any interviews and will not be mentioning your name at all. I ask you to forgive me and I apologize for anything and everything that I've done to you."
During an interview with Atlanta's Boss.fm "The Shake Up" on Oct. 1, Caldwell resurfaced gay rumors about the former football star alleging that he had a brief affair, "It was only a one-time thing," Caldwell said on the radio show, "We was at a bar. We was at a restaurant and I was like 'Omg, that's Kordell.'"
Kordell slammed the claims and told TMZ , "I don't know the guy. I've never heard of him. There's no room in my personality for that lifestyle. It's not what I believe in. I'm a heterosexual man." Kordell also posted his own shady Instagram video of Jay Z explaining why he never feels the need to address anyone over "stupid sh*t." He wrote in his caption, "Y'all should know me by now I don't entertain foolery or dumb shit...#TRUTH #KORDELLISM."
