Back during his rap battle days in Detroit, Eminem was definitely a force to be reckoned with.
According to fellow D12 emcee Kuniva, almost everyone fell to the (now) infamous "Rap God." And the Devil's Night hypeman isn't afraid to admit such defeat - it's almost an honor!
"Me and Em battled and I killed him," Kuniva joked during a recent radio interview with Sway. "Nah, he got me. I was a young pup, too. He was killin' the Hip-Hop Shop. So, I tried it and I gave it my best and all I seen was my man like, 'Throw in the towel.'"
He then compares Shady to a hard-hitting boxing champ:
"I gave him a hard a$$ first round... But it's like Tyson: everybody got a plan until they get hit."
Check out this epic street showdown from back in 1996:
But no hard feelings - Kuniva and "The Monster" superstar still work closely together (but now in the studio):
