News Anchor Fail, Susan Bahorich: Swimming Cat Story Causes Anchor to Crack Up On-Air, Funny News Bloopers [VIDEOS]

A news anchor for WDBJ-7 in Roanoke, Va. couldn't control her laughter when reporting on an overweight cat who is trying to lose weight by swimming. It didn't take Susan Bahorich long before she lost her composure and started laughing. Maybe it was the visual of a fat cat swimming in a life jacket?

Whatever it was that caused the anchor to start cracking up on air, she now is a part of a long history of YouTube videos documenting news anchor fails. Although you can't blame Bahorich too much for this one. Watching a fat cat working out and trying to lose weight by swimming is pretty funny.

Bahorich did her best to try to get through the segment, but it was clear that she wasn't going to be able to hold it together. The 40-second segment turned into a giggle-fest, that left viewers laughing. It got to the point where Bahorich could barely put two words together. She even snorted at the very end of the clip!

Be warned, the clip is very funny. I mean, the cat is wearing a life jacket.

I wouldn't even necessarily call this a "fail" by the anchor because no one can be expected to deliver the "news" while watching a fat cat in a life jacket. However, news anchor fails or "bloopers" have become a mainstay in popular culture.

This news reporter fail was especially impressive because after getting taken out by a sled, the reporter still did his sign off.

This NYC reporter slipped in front of millions of people. And you thought slipping in front of a few people was embarrassing.

This anchor couldn't even stay awake! Outside of storming off and shouting expletives I don't know if there is anything much worse a news anchor can do than fall asleep on air.
