"So You Think You Can Dance" season 4's runner-up Stephen "Twitch" Boss, and Season 2 favorite Allison Holker have been together for nearly two and a half years, and last month, the happy couple announced their engagement, states Yahoo News. Twitch tweeted a photo of a "beaming" Allison showing off a diamond ring with the caption "@AllisonHolker said yes!!!! #official #love."

The adorable couple takes fans backstage to share all of the details about the proposal in January that swept a surprised Allision off of her feet. Access Hollywood released the video of Twitch's heartfelt proposal yesterday, which took place on the set of a commercial the dancer was shooting for Microsoft. Watch the precious footage below:

The dancing duo's love story began back on "SYTYCD" Season 7, when the pair first officially met.

"The moment I saw him in the first rehearsal, I had a crush on him," Allison told Laura of AH. "I kept my distance because I was so embarrassed and I was like, 'Oh, he would never talk to me,' and I knew I was going to be so geeked and like that little kid back in high school that didn't know what to say."

She continued,

"And so literally, the entire season during the show, we didn't speak at all. No words were exchanged -- it was a lot of awkward moments where we'd be in a room by ourselves, like just the two of us, and we'd just stare at each other. And then I would awkwardly like, kind of waddle out of the room, trying to look pretty. But [didn't] want to look like I was trying too hard! It was really funny."

Naturally, Twitch took Allison's aloofness to mean she wasn't interested, which was a bummer for the dancer who thought his bride-to-be was "absolutely gorgeous." Then at the season 7 wrap up party, all it took was Twitch pointing at Allison from the other end of the bar, and Alison was off dashing towards her crush. The pair danced their way to love for "two or three hours straight" that night, according to Allison who says they've been together ever since.

"And we still don't talk," she jokingly added. "We dance our emotions out every day. We dance battle."

Sounds like a platinum relationship for these two talented dancers who happened to find love on the dance floor.

Allison and Twitch's relationship is not the first to come out of "So You Think You Can Dance". Other famous "SYTYCD" couples have included Season 3's Lacey Schwimmer and Hok Konishi, Season 5's Janette Manrara and Jason Glover, and Season 7 winner Lauren Froderman and Season 3's Dominic Sandoval. But Allison and Twitch are the first "SYTYCD" pair to make it official, according to Yahoo News.

Will another romance heat up on the dance floor in this years 10th season of SYTYCD? We'll have to wait until summer to find out...
