ELLE UK has unveiled not one, but two separate covers of their April 2013 issue featuring Rihanna. The British fashion magazine first announced that the Diamonds singer would be their cover star two weeks ago.
ELLE UK's double covers have an attention-grabbing headline: "'I Will Have a Child' So Let's Talk Chris...- Elle Interviewer." Excerpts from the intervew have yet to be released but Rihanna shared her desire to become a mother and discussed her rekindled romance with Chris Brown. Fans can visit ELLE UK's website beginning March 2 to read excerpts from the interview.
The magazine's writer, Mark Allen, interviewed the 25-year-old singer during a trip in Paris and also spent a week with her on the infamous 777 tour in November.
Rihanna, 25, wears black-and-white fashion on both covers. The first image shows the singer wearing a black-and-white monochrome top by Louis Vuitton paired with a black skirt from her clothing line, Rihanna for River Island. The second image features the pop star wearing a black silk and satin stole by Prada with a striped bra peeking out from underneath from her collection.
The looks are more demure than her previous magazine covers that have come out in the past year. The Bajan beauty went topless for GQ, wore very little for seven covers for Complex and bared her shoulders for a recent cover of Rolling Stone.
The chart-topping singer presented Rihanna for River Island on the runway during London Fashion Week on Feb.16. The collection offers a wide range of separates- jumpsuits, maxi-skirts with thigh-high slits, bandeau and midriff tops, leather baseball jackets, jumpsuits and swimsuits. The items worn by the models came in various colors including red, black, neon colors, floral prints and subtle tie-dye prints. The looks were accessorized with hoop earrings and hair bows.
Rihanna for River Island will arrive in retail stores in early March.
ELLE UK's double covers featuring Rihanna will arrive on newsstands on Wednesday, March 6.
