Watch WWE 'NXT' Live Stream Online 11/4/15: Finn Balor vs. Apollo Crews NXT Championship Match

WWE will air the November 4, 2015 edition of NXT tonight, and the main event will be an NXT Championship showdown between Finn Balor and the No. 1 Contender, Apollo Crews. The show will air on the WWE Network at 8 p.m. Eastern, but if you can't watch there, try here or here – both links broadcast free live streams of the show (this may require downloading a torrent).

Crews worked hiw way into the title shot one week after NXT Takeover: Respect when he won a Battle Royal that included other NXT superstars such as Baron Corbin, Samoa Joe, Tyler Breeze, and others. It's evident that WWE has major plans for Crews, but would they really give him title so quickly? We doubt it for multiple reasons.

For starters, neither of NXT's major singles championships (the NXT Championship or the NXT Women's Championship) have ever actually changed hands on a taped show since the developmental brand has started airing on the WWE Network. Therefore, there is no precedent for the switch to occur tonight. That of course doesn't mean it couldn't happen, but it doesn't look good for Crews right out of the gate.

Also, there has been almost no real buildup to this title contest, so a Crews win would not truly feel earned. It would be surprising, for sure, but it would not have the same emotional payoff as if they had built to this match for weeks. To its credit, NXT has done a great job of preparing the fans for this match by showing a series of vignettes about Crews to tell us more about who he is and make us interested in his character, but he and the champion have never even been in the ring together at this point. It's hard to predict that Crews wins given all that.

Having said that, this should still be a fantastic match and a way for Crews to demonstrate why he will eventually hold the NXT Championship belt. Expect a 20-minute affair, which is quite a lot for an hour show. It's also possible WWE uses this match to set the direction for NXT Takeover: London. Could Balor win this match only for Samoa Joe to turn on his friend and attack him for a title shot of his own? Does Baron Corbin decide to try to take out the champion? Do we see a clean win that leads to a rematch for Crews?
