Teen Mom is celebrating another wedding, but this time it's not one of the main girls who got married - it's Amber Portwood's baby daddy Gary Shirley! The nuptials, to his other baby mama Kristina Anderson, came as a surprise to most people because the reality couple didn't announce any engagement before tying the knot. Now that Gary is married to another woman, will this cause an issue regarding their ongoing custody battle over little Leah?

According to The Ashley Reality Roundup, which broke the story, the MTV dad and his now-wife filed for a marriage license at the end of September after their daughter Emilee was born earlier this year. Us Weekly confirmed that the date of their marriage was September 28, 2015.

"Gary is a total loud mouth and tells everyone about his business," a source told Radar Online. "So it's shocking he only told a few people, and made them promise not to tell a soul."

It seems that Amber and her fiancé Matt Baier were completely taken aback by the news and only found out through people in their town.

"They can't believe it, because Gary never seemed that serious about Kristina," the source said.

There may actually have been an ulterior motive as to why the reality dad secretly wed his longtime girlfriend. Starcasm is reporting that Gary finally made it down the aisle due to his ongoing custody fight with Amber.

"As it was, Amber had the right of first refusal with Leah. For example, if Gary couldn't pick Leah up from school, Amber should have been contacted first about filling in... But Gary preferred to get Kristina's help," the gossip site explained. "Now that they are married, Gary has the right to turn to Kristina before Amber."

The irony of the situation is that Amber announced the date of her upcoming wedding on Twitter on the same day (Sept 28) that Gary got married. Coincidence?

"It's official me and @mattbEPT are getting married next October 2016 I can't wait! Sending love everyone," she wrote at the time.
