The Pittsburgh Penguins vs. the Montreal Canadiens battle it out on the ice at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec on Saturday, March 2 at 7:00 p.m. ET. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Saturday evening hockey game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
The Penguins head into Saturday night's game as the no 1 team in the NHL Eastern Atlantic Conference. Pittsbrugh snags the overall no 6 spot in the division, with a 13-8-0 record. According to Yahoo! sports columnist Sam McCaig, "It's been a two-steps-ahead, one-step-back kind of season for the Penguins, who won five of six before stumbling against the Panthers and Hurricanes. In a curious twist, it's Evgeni Malkin sidelined with concussion symptoms and Sidney Crosby vying for the NHL scoring lead."
The Canadiens snag the no 2 spot in the NHL Eastern Northeast Conference, and the no 4 overall spot with a 13-4-3 record (out of 30 teams). As McCaig points out, "Who thought the Habs would rise so high? They've won seven of their past nine, and the two losses were in extra time. Montreal is getting offense from everybody - 17 players have scored a goal, including 13 who have scored at least two - and Andrei Markov's presence is great for impressionable younf D-men such as P.K. Subban, Raphael Diaz and Alexei Emelin. Carey Price's brilliance continues."
The game will be broadcasted live on local channels CBS, NHLN-US, ROOT, and RDS, but fans can also listen in on the radio at 105.9 The X, 970 ESPN, TSN Radio, and 98,5 FM.
