First music, then movies, and now fashion. Rihanna is taking over the entertainment world one industry at a time. Beyonce better watch out, because RiRi could be taking over her spot as America's most popular singer. Mstarz reported on Rihanna's deal with MAC cosmetics, which is the first of it's kind for the company. Now, Rihanna is ready for the New York launch of her River Island fashion collection.
The ELLE UK cover girl, who recently celebrated her 25th birthday in Hawaii with Chris Brown, is bringing her fashion line with River Island to the states. After its successful showing in Paris, the collection debut at Opening Ceremony March 5 in New York City. Opening Ceremony's flagship store will be hosting "RIHtrospective," showcasing her on stage and red carpet looks. This also marks the launch of the "Rihanna for River Island" collection in the United States.
The seven outfit display will highlight Rihanna's diversity, while also keeping with Rihanna's magic number seven. The number goes along with Rihanna's seven Billboard awards, seven Grammy awards, her seven album releases in seven years, and her 777 tour. That is a lot of sevens. The exhibit will be open for three weeks, which has nothing to do with seven.
One of the outfits being displayed will be Rihanna's pink lace dress that she wore at the "Victoria's Secret 2012" show. The singer wowed the audience when she performed in the Adam Selman designed dress.
The fashion exhibit is just another notch in the singer's fashionable belt. Rihanna continues to draw constant media attention for her relationship with Chris Brown, but she also continues to take the entertainment world by storm with her music, movies, cosmetic, and fashion lines.
Whether you are a Rihanna fan, looking for some new clothes, searching for a present for your girlfriend, or just in the area, try to stop by Opening Ceremony in NYC to see the "RIHtrospective" exhibit.
