Emma Stone Tweets Cryptic Message about Boyfriend Andrew Garfield, New 'Mary Jane' Shailene Woodley: Trouble on 'Amazing Spider-Man 2' Set? PHOTOS

Actress Emma Stone rarely gets involved in any sort of social media or cyber drama (despite that bogus "sex tape" scandal that circulated on the web not too long ago). But the 24-year-old "Easy A" starlet sent out a rather cryptic tweet on Saturday (March 2) before promptly deleting it... with a bizarre message that suggests that there might be some relationship drama brewing between her and Spidey boyfriend, Andrew Garfield. And that trouble just might have to do with Garfield's new "Mary Jane" love interest, Shailene Woodley... is the 21-year-old "Secret Life of the American Teenager" starlet causing some issues both on and off the set of "The Amazing Spider-Man 2?"

Check out the unusual tweet Stone sent out Saturday afternoon, which was quickly deleted not too long afterwards:

What the heck does that mean?!

Gossip guru Perez Hilton did some digging, and it turns out the cryptic tweet is an anagram which translates to, "Andrew and Shailene sitting in a tree."

K-I-S-S-I-N-G...?

Maybe it was just a joke (Stone is known as quite the prankster), or maybe it was even Garfield messing around with his girlfriend's Twitter account to confuse fans. Or maybe the tweet was completely innocent... Garfield and Woodley DO have to kiss on the set of the new Spidey film. Still, sort of odd...

Anyway, the couple was spotted hanging out in Tribeca later that day, kissing and cuddling and seemingly having a great time. It didn't appear that Garfield's new onscreen love interest was in any way tearing the duo apart...

So what do fans think? Was Stone and Garfield just messing around?

Oh, and the "Amazing Spider-Man 2" is set to hit theaters May 2, 2014.
