Serena Williams Catches Man Who Stole Her Phone in a Restaurant [WATCH]

Serena Williams is being deemed a hero after she took on a brave task and caught a man who stole her cell phone in a Chinese restaurant.

According to SB Nation, Williams was having dinner when a man came up near her table and took her phone. After looking down and noticing that her phone was gone, Williams instantly jumped up and went running after the thief. Shocked, the man quickly gave her the phone back when she asked politely for it, and they went on with their lives like nothing happened!

Wow, we know nine times out of ten something like that wouldn't go down that way! Come on, we know some of our readers out there would be ready to chase that thief down and put up some kind of fight, but Williams was brave! She didn't know if he was crazy, or if he could do her harm. What if he would have had a weapon? Like we said, she was BRAVE!

After the incident, Williams took to Facebook and told her fans and followers the entire ordeal, even posting a photo of herself as a superhero, in which she crowned that title to herself for the bravery she showed when confronting the thief.

She claimed that she approached him in a nice manner because she didn't want any conflict with the man. She even asked him if he "accidentally" took her cell phone. Good thinking! Williams also said that customers in the restuarant gave her a standing ovation after she got her phone back.
