UFC superstar Ronda Rousey has announced her support for Bernie Sanders for President in 2016. The announcement comes in a new interview with Maxim magazine. During the conversation with the publication, Rousey claimed that she's voting for Sanders due to the fact that he "doesn't take any corporate money." On Hillary Clinton, well, she's not so impressed.

The fighter admitted that she feels politicians shouldn't be able to take any donations for their presidential runs from "outside interests" such as corporations.

Of course, many believe Sanders' ability to actually gain the Democratic nomination is lacking due to his incessant use of the word "socialism," as it is oftentimes something that scares off the general public from mere mention—something he discussed at length with comedian Bill Maher on Real Time a number of weeks ago.

Should Sanders not earn the presidential nomination, Rousey admits that unlike other left-wingers around the country, she probably will not go for the frontrunner, Clinton.

"If he doesn't win against Hillary, then I'll probably vote for a third party again," she told Maxim.

Back in 2012, Rousey admitted, she reportedly voted for a third party because she "was against both candidates" – President Barack Obama and Gov. Mitt Romney. Voting for a third party appears to be an important method for the athlete, as she feels the more people vote for them, the more other parties such as the Republicans and Democrats would lean to take them seriously.

Her third party choice in the 2012 election? Comedian Roseanne Bar.

As for her thoughts on the Republican side, Rousey notes that while GOP hopeful Donald Trump told CNN some time ago that she was a supporter, it appears the opposite to be true. "I mean, I wouldn't vote for him," she said. "I just really wouldn't trust the guy running my country, that's all. I'm not really going to get into specifics of it, but, I mean, I don't want a reality TV star to be running my country."
