"Wings" star Steven Weber couldn't keep his marriage from crashing and burning. Weber's longtime wife Juliette Hohnen filed for divorce in the Los Angeles County Superior Court in early February citing 'irreconcilable differences.'

Though the papers weren't filed until recently, the documents claim that the couple has been separated since last October.

Weber is most well-known for his role as Brian Hackett, an unreliable screw-up and womanizing pilot on the NBC sitcom "Wings", which ran for eight seasons spanning seven years. The show followed Hackett and his uptight brother Joe as they attempted to run a small-town airport in Nantucket, Massachusetts. The show had over 100 episodes and is regularly shown in syndication on the USA network.

Hohnen, who married the actor in 1995, is a jack of all trades. She made her name on MTV Europe and became a producer and reporter for the MTV's American program Big Picture. After that she became a print journalist writing articles for Harpers and Queen and Tatler. Most recently, Hohnen became an interior designer.

That's not to say Weber hasn't kept busy, the actor recently appeared on episodes of FX's "Wilfred" and CBS' "2 Broke Girls."

Weber and Hohnen have had two children together Jack Alexander Hohnen-Weber, 12, and Alfie James, 10.

On top of spousal support, the 48-year-old is asking for joint legal and physical custody of their two children.

This divorce will end the second long-term marriage of Weber's life. He was married to  former "As the World Turns" actress Finn Carter. The two met on the set in 1985. Carter played Sierra Estaban Reyes Montgomery and Weber played Kevin Gibson. They were married that same year and divorced in 1994. The couple had no children.

How do you feel about the Weber-Hohnen split? What do you think might have caused it?
