The Maple Leafs snag the no 4 spot in the NHL Eastern Northeast Conference, and the no 7 overall spot with a 13-9-0 record (out of 30 teams). As Wood points out, "One of the biggest enigmas in the NHL, the Toronto Maple Leafs look awful at times, and will come back the next night with a playoff-caliber performance. If Toronto could find any kind of offensive consistency, the team would be a serious contender."

Tonight's face-off on the ice should prove a fierce battle between two of NHL East's best teams.
