Bones 'The Promise In The Palace' Season 11 Episode 7 Recap: David Boreanaz Booth/Brennan Case

Season 11 of Bones continues its final season on Fox. In tonight's Episode 7, as the Jeffersonian take on a new case, are Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) ready to face ""The Promise in the Palace?"

A trio of bicyclists are afraid of the steep cliff before they race down. One of them crashes and finds a dead body in the grass. Back at home, Booth and Brennan are celebrating the first tooth their daughter lost. Unfortunately, Brennan doesn't want the Tooth Fairy to give money to their daughter 

At the crime scene, Camille (Tamara Taylor), Hodgins (T.J. Thyne), and Aubrey (John Boyd) investigate the corpse and spot more blood spots. Aubrey and Camille follow the tracks, discovering the body was dragged. 

As the Jeffersonian team analyze the corpse, Camille spots a mysterious key inside the skull. While Angela (Michaela Conlin) is getting advice from the photographer, Camille has a finger for her to run. Camille warns Angela that her mentor may want more than advice. 

Following Clarissa' match, Aubrey and Booth interrogate her roommate, Hannah, and learn she was into weird stuff. Clarissa described herself as an escape artist. Camille calls Brennan and tells her about Clarissa's burn marks.  

Brennan and Booth then interrogate a magician and spot a fire starter. The fire starter accidentally burned Clarissa, who was distracted by something big in her life. Checking out surveillance footage, Angela finds the last place Clarissa went too. 

Aubrey and Booth then interrogate Clarissa's coach, discovering a dead end. As Camille and Angela then search through Clarissa's email, the photographer makes an unexpected call. Brennan isn't impressed by the magic trick performed by a squintern.

Booth and Brennan interrogate the magician's son, learning why he sent the threatening emails. The son saw Clarissa kissing a stranger but he didn't recognize the face. Camille confronts the photographer and discovers he was really interested in her, not Angela.  

As Camille has doubts about dating again, Aubrey and Booth follow-up on a new lead; Clarissa was strangled to death. Clarissa had a an allergic reaction when she died. Booth suspects Clarissa's mystery lover was her roommate's boyfriend. 

Aubrey learns Clarissa was having an affair but someone else bought her flowers. The roommate may have learned about the affair too. As the investigation continues, Aubrey realizes the roommate had been following her boyfriend and Clarissa. 

Though they have a prime suspect, Brennan thinks the chain links were used to kill Clarissa.  Booth and Brennan now have the evidence to bring in the magician. After the magician's arrest, Booth knows Brennan tricked him to get a confession. 

Booth plays magic trick on Brennan, who cannot figure out how he played her. At the end of the day, Camille makes a call to Angela's mentor and sets up a date.
