El Rey Network has released The Director's Chair episode online FREE ahead of its official premiere. Director Robert Rodriguez serves as host as he sits down with Rocky creator Sylvester Stallone (Creed) as they discuss his remarkable acting/directing career.
The Sin City filmmaker discusses the craft of making a movie and the cinematic experience alongside prominent figures in the film industry. In our MStars News interview, the From Dusk Till Dawn writer/director spoke about the upcoming Director's Chair episode and his guest:
MS: Besides From Dusk Till Dawn, what other original programs from El Rey are you interested in continuing?
RR: Have you seen the Director's Chair?
MS: Yes! That's the one where you speak with John Carpenter (They Live), Guillermo Del Toro (Devil's Backbone), and Michael Mann (Heat).
RR: It's a fun show! The best one's coming up! It's the one I do with Sylvester Stallone! It's frigging awesome! He's so inspirational! People are really going to like that one! It's really surprising.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Rodriguez sits down with his Spy Kids 3D: Game Over star to talk about the early beginnings of Rocky, First Blood, and his recent The Expendables franchise.
Rodriguez describes Stallone, "He crafts the story, writes the screenplay, he directs, getting career best performances from his other actors. He not only stars in the movies but also has to maintain a peak physical condition the entire time. What he does is superhuman."
