Bollywood director Rohit Shetty did Chennai Express with superstar Shah Rukh Khan in 2013. After the gap of two years, the duo are coming back with romantic action film Dilwale in which Khan will be sharing screen with Kajol Devgan. During the promotion of Dilwale, Khan hinted that Shetty has lined up three more films with him that will go to production in 2016.
A trailer of two of the Khan's anticipated movies were released earlier this month. Under the direction of Shetty, Dilwale will have crisp editing, songs with amazing backdrops and astounding action sequences. According to Dainik Bhaskar, while talking about his coming film, Khan hinted that Shetty has already started working on three more stories for him. There are also reports that among these three films, one will be the remake of 1982 super-hit comedy film, Angoor.
"Rohit has three stories for me. Rohit wanted to make Dilwale first as it will also star Kajol with me. I have absolutely no idea when we will be able to make these three films," Khan said. "When a director chooses you, one have to understand the factor that there is something important in that film. People often ask me why I am not working with few actresses, I want to make them clear that, I want to work with directors and not with the actresses."
On his 50th birthday, Khan even made a promise to all his fans that he will do three films every year.
"I want to do different films and I want to do lots of such films like I used to do earlier. I have decided that from the age of 50 to 55, I will do 15 really nice films. The target is to do three movies a year but I manage to reach two and a half. I want to do a mad film like Dilwale," Mid-Day reported.
After the December release of Dilwale, Khan will be seen in Manish Sharma's Fan. There have been speculations that there won't be any actress in the film sharing the screen with Khan. Khan also explained that a film belongs to director and it is always a director's choice whether or not they want to cast any actress in their film.
"Fan is about a fan of a superstar, so Manish do not think that they require an actress. I have full faith in Manish's choice."
