Vincent Margera: 'Jackass' Star Dead at 59, Bam's Uncle Honored on Twitter [VIDEO]

It's being reported that Jackass star Vincent Margera, the uncle to Bam Margera, has died at the age of 59. Don Vito, as he was known in the show(s), passed away earlier this morning at 6:45 a.m. After news of his death was leaked, Margera was instantly honored on Twitter by fans and friends.

TMZ reports that Margera grew in recognition while appearing on Jackass in a number of pranks––most of which were played on him, or displayed him being the center of the joke. He was also seen in the Jackass films as well as Viva La Bam.

The gossip site notes that Don Vito had been "struggling with kidney and liver failure" for quite some time, having fallen into a coma back in October.

TMZ notes that this isn't the first death Bam has suffered through as of late. Back in 2011, fellow Jackass star, and Bam's best friend, Ryan Dunn died in a horrific car crash.
