Justin Bieber angered his devoted Beliebers last night in London by arriving two hours late to his first performance of his "Believe" tour at the O2 Arena. The 19-year-old singer had plans to "chill with friends" before the concert, which apparently ran a little too long. The "Baby" singer has yet to address the reason(s) for his tardiness but his fans are livid and asking for refunds.
Bieber fan, Sophia Lee, told E! News, "I was at the concert and he came out at 10:15 p.m. and Carly Rae Jepsen finished her set at 9:10 p.m.. Justin should have been out at 9:30. Everyone was kept waiting not knowing anything. All they did was kept playing Michael Jackson songs. All the fans were getting so annoyed at around 9:50 p.m., fans started booing."
According to the tickets for the Justin Bieber concert, the pop star was supposed to hit the stage at 8:30. Bieber's fans are generally of a younger age so sadly man of them had to leave early due to it being a school night and others also had to worry about catching the proper trains back home.
"I stayed! But many people left early as the last underground train was at 12 a.m., so people needed to get home," Sophia Lee said. "He didn't even apologize. That's what makes it worse...My mom paid for five tickets so she's not happy."
The Bieber camp nor Justin himself have not commented on the lateness and the unsatisfactory concert. The O2 Arena did post a tweet on its Twitter account to apologize and reassure fans:
"Justin Bieber is now on stage and apologises for the lateness of his show," and then added, "Sorry to all the Justin Bieber fans for the lateness of his show tonight. The Tube will still be running when the show finishes."
Justin is set to perform tonight at the same arena. When someone tweeted at the O2 Twitter account, asking about making sure tonight's show goes on as scheduled, the aren responded:
@jo_evans Jo - we will be doing everything within our power to ensure Justin makes its on stage at the right time.
