Miley Cyrus Hair Color, Blue Or Platinum? [PHOTO]

Miley Cyrus stepped out with a new hair color on Sunday and had to debunk rumors she dyed it blue after pictures of her pixie cut went viral. The former Disney Star went on Twitter to defend the new hair job and reveal what the actual color is.

"My hurr ain't blue. That s***** PLATINUM," Cyrus revealed on Twitter on Mar. 3. She also clarified that her hair color was a result of a dye job mishap. "Just went heavy on that shimmer lights haha," she added.

Shimmer Light is a Clairol shampoo and conditioner treatment that corrects the tone in color treatments when used properly. If used incorrectly, it can change the user's hair to a color other than what is intended.

Cyrus, 19, first cut her hair from long blonde tresses to a short pixie cut last August.

"Never felt more me in my whole life," she tweeted at the time.

Cyrus is currently in the studio recording new music for her fourth studio album. She is engaged to Hunger Games star Liam Hemsworth. The couple met in 2009 on the set of the film they starred in together, The Last Song. Hemsworth proposed to the pop star on May 31 with a 3.5-carat diamond ring.

Cyrus recently attended Elton John's AIDS Foundation Oscars fundraising and viewing party to watch the 85th annual Academy Awards live with her mother. John's annual bash also drew the likes of Britney Spears, Nicki Minaj, Jim Carrey, Chris Brown, the Kardashian sisters- Kim, Kourtney and Khloe; Melanie Brown, Heidi Klum, Menu Suvari, Steven Tyler, Emma Roberts and her boyfriend Evan Peters, Chelsea Handler and her boyfriend hotelier Andres Balazs, Nicole Riche and Joel Madden, Kelly Osbourne and her fiancé, Anna Paquin and Stepehen Moyer.
