Psy 'Gangnam Style' Remix: Diplo Produces Dance Hit Featuring 2 Chainz, Tyga, Afrojack on 'Gangnam Style Remix Style' [VIDEO]

It wasn't that long ago that South Korean musician PSY took the world by storm with his hit single "Gangnam Style." Of course with every hit song or YouTube music video there needs to be a remix. "Gangnam Style" has just gotten remixed by Philadelphia rapper and songwriter Diplo. The remix also reportedly features rappers 2 Chainz and Tyga.

Diplo's remix is a part of a new album titled Gangnam Style Remix Style available March 5 through School Boy/Republic Records. The album also features a remix version by Afrojack. The Remix Style EP is available digitally here.

The Diplo remix doesn't keep a lot of the same elements from the original "Gangnam Style" track and it also features some extra verses from 2 Chainz and Tyga. After listening to the song, it's hard to hear much of the original track outside of the occasional song verses and PSY singing "Gangnam Style." However, you can't blame Diplo for trying to get on the "Gangnam Style" bandwagon. The video has surpassed 1 billion views on YouTube. Yes, you read that correctly, billion with a "B."

The new remix adds a catchy beat to an already catchy song and provides the song with a new twist. Will people enjoy it? It all depends on your musical tastes.

Now that PSY's hit song has been remixed in every way possible, what is next for the South Korean K-pop star? According to an interview PSY did with MTV News, he is not going to be doing any collaborations until he finishes his next solo project.

"I don't think I'll be doing any collaborations until my new track is done, and it's not done yet, but I'm thinking of doing it by myself, so I can prove I can do it one more time," PSY said. "And I'm working hard on it, because I've got to be good with the track and the video, and I've got to be able to perform it on the stage."

PSY will have his hands full trying to outdo "Gangnam Style." It's going to be difficult beating the "one-hit-wonder" tag that so many artists have fallen victim to.
