Christina Aguilera might be coming to replace Gwen Stefani on the cast of The Voice when the new season starts this spring, but it doesn't seem like there is anything but love between the two blond bombshells. In fact, the "Beautiful" singer even defended the former No Doubt singer's romance with co-star Blake Shelton.
That's right, according to Radar Online, Aguilera gave her gal pal some heartfelt words and well wishes as she starts on this new romance with the country singer.
When the singer was asked about The Voice relationship by the press at a domestic violence benefit that she attended last week in Los Angeles, she couldn't help but try to protect Shelton and Stefani's relationship.
"Let them have their happiness," the 34-year-old told the media. "They're both great people and divorce is rough."

According to Metro, the star also opened up about the relationship, saying, "happiness deserves happiness."
The singer also had a very publicized divorce from her ex-husband Jordan Bratman, back in 2010, before getting engaged to current fiancé Matt Rutler.
She also defended the couple, as she thinks that they are handling their divorces the best that the can while being in the public eye.
Divorce is hard enough," the Lotus singer stated. "Then to be under a microscope and scrutinized and rumors... it's just a bunch of crap."
InStyle is also reporting on Aguilera's kind words to her friends and fellow judges, saying, "I know their personal experiences with their divorces on separate levels, and man, I've been through a divorce myself so everybody deserves happiness. And they're two amazing people, such hard workers."
