The Montreal Canadiens vs. the New York Islanders battle it out on the ice at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in New York on Tuesday, March 5 at 7:00 p.m. ET. Read on to see where fans can watch and listen to a live stream of the Tuesday evening hockey game online and catch up-to-date feeds and coverage on highlight plays and scores.
The Canadiens head into Tuesday night's game as the no 1 team in the NHL Eastern Northeast Conference. Montreal snags the overall no 3 spot in the division, with a 14-4-4 record. According to Bleacher Report sports columnist Tom Schreier, "That Saturday contest against Pittsburgh might have been the best hockey game I've seen this season. Too bad somebody had to lose it. And, hey, things aren't all that bad for Montreal. It started its five-game road trip with a win over Boston."
The Islanders snag the no 5 spot in the NHL Eastern Atlantic Conference, and the no 23 overall spot with a 9-11-2 record (out of 30 teams). As Schreier points out, "If I'm an Islanders fan, I look at Rick DiPietro's demotion as a general win for the team and stop worrying about what happens with the season as a whole... I'm sorry, but it's kinda true."
The game will be broadcasted live on local channels RDS and MGS Plus 2, but fans can also listen in on the radio at TSN Radio, 98,5, and 88.7 WRHU.
