WWE taped the November 19, 2015 episode of Thursday Night SmackDown from Knoxville, Tennessee on Tuesday, and this is the final show before Survivor Series on Sunday. We've got full spoilers from the episode, so let's get to it.
The show begins with Miz TV and the four semifinalists in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament. WWE Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens comes out first, but WWE United States Champion Alberto Del Rio interrupts. Dean Ambrose then crashes the party, followed by Roman Reigns. R-Truth then comes out and when they tell him he's not in the tournament, he wishes them all luck and leaves. Reigns and Ambrose then flatten The Miz to end the segment.
Miz then wants to have his match cancelled, but his wish goes unfulfilled as Cesaro more or less squashes him. The Cosmic Wasteland (Stardust and The Ascension) are at ringside and tease a confrontation with the Swiss Superman, but they don't come to blows.
Neville and The Dudley Boyz defeat The Cosmic Wasteland.
Tyler Breeze defeats Zack Ryder with Dolph Ziggler at ringside. Breeze cuts a promo on Ziggler prior to the match.
The Wyatt Family comes out to cut a promo, but Undertaker and Kane interrupt them with a promo from the TitanTron.
Charlotte defeats Brie Bella with the Figure Eight.
Big E defeats Kalisto with some assistance from New Day brethren Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. They then attack The Lucha Dragons until Ryback rushes out to save them.
Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose defeat Kevin Owens and Alberto Del Rio by disqualification in the main event when Del Rio uses the steel steps on Reigns. Ambrose and Reigns hit their finishers to stand tall as the show goes off the air.
An interesting note: earlier in the show, Reigns and Ambrose did a backstage segment talking about what would happen if they reached the finals at Survivor Series. They also did a similar segment on Monday Night Raw Fallout after the show this week. Very intriguing...
