Ronda Rousey shocked everyone when she was knocked out and lost her fight against Holly Holm at UFC 193. After the fight, Rousey was attacked online through memes and tweets following the mixed martial arts battle. However, if you think boxing champ, Floyd Mayweather was going to join in on the criticism, even after the two allegedly had beef earlier this year...think again. He actually took to social media to defend Rousey from ones trying to take virtual shots at her.
"I don't think it's cool how everyone is trolling her on social media," the five-time division world champion said. "Certain things you have to learn. People will love you on Friday, and then Sunday morning, it's nothing but negative comments and people making jokes and people making fun about you, which I don't think is cool."
Mayweather admitted that he didn't have anything against MMA fighters, and said that he was proud of both ladies in their fight over the weekend.
"I'm proud of the new girl, Holly, and I'm proud of Ronda," Mayweather said before applauding Rousey on gaining success in a short period of time despite losing against Holm. "She's only been here for a very, very short time and she's built a great fanbase, and she did it with not so many fights."

Mayweather probably wouldn't have anything nice to say a few months ago before Rousey's fight. The two were feuding, and going back and forth with harsh words to each other in the media.
According to Hollywood Life, Mayweather made it clear that Rousey was nowhere near being on his level when it comes to being a champ. Rousey also took shots reminding Mayweather, suggesting that he couldn't read. At that time, Mayweather claimed that Rousey was just looking for publicity.
Now it seems that Mayweather has a softer heart after Rousey lost her UFC fight. He claimed that everyone is human, and even apologized for his past bullying.
"We're only human. We make mistakes, and like I said before, I apologize for not knowing who she was at one particular time," the champion said. "That just shows you how focused I was on my craft."
Shocking right? Maybe not. Mayweather said that he wanted Rousey to keep her head up and move on from her loss. He encouraged her to remain positive and said that he would help her out if she wanted to learn some skills in boxing.
"If you need help as far as with boxing, I'm here to help you. It's all about timing and inches. Her ground game is unbelievable. She'll be OK."
Mayweather believed that a break from the ring would help Rousey out. He even started to sound like he was her coach for a minute.
"I think that she needs some time off to regroup and refocus. I think they're rushing her. They need to build Ronda Rousey back up, her confidence back up, even though I think she's probably still confident," Mayweather explained. "Let Holly fight, defend the title a few times, and build it. What I would do, I would put them on the same card fighting against different opponents and then slowly build it up. It's all about timing."
For the ones that didn't get a chance to see that knockout kick, here's a recap below.
