As the ongoing debate over whether or not those who play fantasy football are actually gambling rages onward, it seems that heavy hitters FanDuel and DraftKings are protesting to stand strong. New York's attorney general recently put a ban on both sites, which sparked the protest in New York City. And naturally, The Daily Show had to head over to the rally to interview some of the gamblers.

Err, sorry, skilled players, we mean.

The Comedy Central series sent correspondent Hasan Minhaj over to the rally to speak with a number of protestors who believe that fantasy sports is, unquestionably, not gambling, but instead a game a skill.

Like, say, Black Jack... or maybe even Poker. You know, gambling games.

"They took to the streets because of their deeply held beliefs, knowing fantasies are a cause worth fighting for," Minhaj joked.

One protestor told the correspondent, "Just because not everything is kids starving in Africa doesn't mean it's not something worth fighting for."

Another explained that he truly believes it's a game of skill, and not luck, because if it were like gambling – which apparently requires no skill? – he would be winning quite a bit more. To put it in Minhaj's words, this fan is doing it "for the love of the game" ... and "stupidity."

An interesting twist to the piece came when protestors began, perhaps unknowingly, admitting that their non-gambling sport is a skill game equivalent to that of Poker. Additionally, it took an even weirder turn once The Daily Show discovered that a lot of the people protesting actually worked for both FanDuel and DraftKings – wth many even admitting that they themselves do not play fantasy football.

So, we have to ask:
