Los Angeles Clippers star Lamar Odom couldn't stay awake through a custody case against former girlfriend Liza Morales.
According to the NY Post, Odom fell asleep on a courthouse bench as lawyers argued over child support and visitation rights.
"Excuse me, are you OK?" A Manhattan court officer asked Odom.
Odom said he was fine and the officer instructed him that he needed to sit up.
Odom complied with the officer's wishes, then hunched over and rested his head on his hands.
Odom, who is currently married to reality TV show star Khloe Kardashian, is fighting Morales for custody of their two children Destiny, age 14, and Lamar Jr., 11.
Odom has spent the last several years on the Pacific Coast, which may help explain his inability to stay awake after flying to New York, losing several hours in the process.
"Starter Wives" star Morales claimed that Odom married Kardashian after knowing her for only four weeks in an open letter published on The Daily Beast.
"I don't think I'll forget the tight knot I felt in the pit of my stomach the morning I received the text message with three simple words on the screen. It read 'I'm getting married' and it was from the man I'd spent more than 10 years of my life with," Morales said.
Morales also explained the particulars of her and Lamar's relationship, like how they met.
"I met Lamar in the 9th grade in Queens, New York, and was completely taken in by his wit, charm, and that devastating smile he so easily flashed at anyone he met," Morales explained. "We dated from the 11th grade on and shared a tight bond due to a lot of things, including the fact that we both were products of broken homes."
Morales claims that the relationship between the two is so strained that they only communicate through "third parties and lawyers."
On top of visitation, custody and child support, Morales and Odom are also arguing over whether or not the children's likenesses should be allowed on television, as both are associated with reality TV shows.
