Ethan Hall, 7, sang Australia's national anthem before an Australian Baseball League game on Friday. Unfortunately, young Ethan encountered an untimely case of the hiccups almost as soon as he began. However, Ethan was not deterred. He continued like a true pro, finishing the anthem in style—hiccups and all.

Upon the completion of the national anthem, the crowd greeted Ethan with rapturous applause (deservedly so) and the announcer deemed it, "a fantastic rendition of Australia's national anthem."

Nobody disagrees.

Hall then exited the field, receiving a number of enthusiastic high-fives from the players.

And while young Ethan's performance was worthy of a win itself, his team—the Adelaide Bite—were not able to perform to the same degree, eventually losing the game by the score of 3-2. However, it wasn't without a couple of impressive performances.

Both team's starting pitchers showed well, with Bandits right-hander Jason Jarvis and Queensland native Steven Chambers each turning in quality outings for their squads. However, it was Jarvis that would come out the better of the two.

"Jarvis is doing what he's been doing," Brisbane pitching coach Jim Bennett said, via theabl.com. "Today the command that he had for the first five innings, that's big-league command out there with good stuff. His last two innings he battled and he got quick outs. He did a great job going another quality start for us."

After Jarvis exited the game, the rest of the pitching staff came in to shut the door on the hometown Bite.

"Our pitchers did a good job of keeping us right there, and then [Ryan] Searle comes in and just shuts the door really hard and gave our hitters a chance to come through," Bennett said, via theabl.com.

However, it's fair to say the both Jarvis and Chambers were ultimately trumped on the day with Ethan's rendition of "Advance Australia Fair." The performance will undoubtedly go down as one of the best national anthems ever done, and quite possibly the best thing sung this year. Your move, Adele.
