Thanksgiving Day couldn't come fast enough for Jersey Shore's Jenni "JWoww" Farley. The reality star is gearing up for the feats with hubby Roger Mathew and toddler, Meilani. She told OK exclusively, "I'm so excited to be hosting Thanksgiving this year! I take my hosting duties super seriously and I wanted to make sure I prepare the most delicious meal for my guests! I've been testing out a bunch of different recipes and even got the help of my friend and amazing chef Ann Burrell with her cookbooks that she sent over to me!"
The 29-year-old Worse Cooks In America star has put together a cute menu, which will consist of a four-course meal with an antipasto platter with bread sticks, a meat and cheese platter, and stuffed shells for the first course. Afterwards, a pear and walnut salad, plus two sides will be served. The main course will include glazed turkey and a wild rice stuffing, a smoked ham with garlic mashed potatoes, including a bread and sausage stuffing. Of course, dessert is on deck and the guests will have three options; one being an Italian cheese cake.
It all sounds yummy! She says, "I'm planning on going all out and eating everything... since I'm eating for two! But even with the splurges, I'm still trying to keep healthy and not gain too much weight with this pregnancy! This whole week I've been having my 310 Nutrition shakes in the morning and afternoon so that I can really enjoy Thanksgiving without the guilt! If you stick to a healthy diet plan before and after the big day, you'll be able to enjoy the foods you love!"
The expecting mom has been an advocate for staying fit while pregnant. After "hugging the toilet" during her first trimester, she's ready for a fitness routine. She told Fit Pregnancy, "I will do 45 minutes of cardio and spend forty-five minutes on free weights. I love being on the gym floor with dumbbells and barbells, or doing push ups and sit ups. I love working all of the different machines for all of my body parts.
