Tracy Morgan has revealed he spoke to God while in a coma in critical condition, after the limousine he was riding in collided with a Walmart truck on a New Jersey highway last year. The comedian was left with a traumatic brain injury and revealed that God told him it wasn't his time to die yet.

The former 30 Rock star told Complex magazine, "I went to the other side. This is not something I'm making up. Do you know what God said to me? He said, 'Your room ain't ready (sic). I still got something for you to do.' And here I am, doing an interview with you."

The 47-year-old former SNL star continued, "You're never going to be normal after you go through something like that. You don't die for a few weeks and then come back to normal, trust me. Something's going to be missing, something's going to be gained - you just got to live your life after that."

The actor and comedian tied the knot with Megan Wollover in September 2015 in New Jersey. The couple have a 2-year-old daughter named Maven together.

Morgan also recently sat down with GQ magazine, where he discussed his long recovery after the accident.

The comedian revealed, "I wasn't in a good place. I didn't get into a good place until, maybe, 10 months later. I started to remember and think (about the accident) and all of that stuff. They taught me how to walk again, and stand up and sit up again, and it was really painful for a long time..."

Morgan returned to the stand-up stage for the first time since his horrific accident in October 2015, playing two shows ahead of his television comeback on Saturday Night Live.
