Air Jordan XII 'Olympic' Sneakers May be Released Later Next Year

To all my fellow sneaker heads, the time has come! Word on the street is that the Air Jordan XII "Olympics" will be releasing next year. According to Sneaker Bar Detroit, the "Olympics" are set to be released as part of the Jordan Brand's Fall 2016 roster.

Arguably one of the most popular sneakers in street style, Air Jordans are one of the most versatile sneakers to hit the market. You can dress down an outfit for a casual look and when you want to switch it up, you can show off your shoe game by matching a simple bodycon with a pair of Air Jordans to set off your ensemble for a night out. Created by Michael Jordan, the Air Jordan brand has been instrumental within fashion and pop culture. The Air Jordan 7's were made famous by the Olympic "Dream Team" at the 1992 Summer Olympic Games In Barcelona where Michael Jordan represented Team USA wearing the infamous kicks.

Currently there are no pictures circulating of the updated version of the Air Jordans. Unlike the 2012 pair, you can expect these sneakers to have a different color scheme from the traditional mixture of Metallic Gold, True Red and Obsidian Blue throughout the sneaker. One thing is for sure, the number 9 symbol placed on the heel of the shoe will be showcased on the new model.

These gems are expected to carry the price tag of $190. Not too bad for one of the most popular pair of Jordan’s. So get your closets ready!
