Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima is shooting for the stars when it comes to her career. The model plans to cross-over more often, to act in movies roles. She recently posed for a photo shoot for the December issue of Viva and revealed what is was like to channel legendary actresses, Audrey Hepburn and Sophia Loren for the Mac Jacobs' Decadence ad. "For me playing Sophia Loren and Audrey Hepburn in this campaign was a chance to be sexy, feminine and classic. I loved how it turned out," she said.
The 34-year-old mother of two is also inspired by some of her beloved family members and says, "I also have a powerful part of my character, and I get a lot of this from the women in my family such as my mom, my grandmother-they are very strong characters," reported Daily Mail.
The vixen wholeheartedly believes that being an actress and a model at the same time, is possible. "I want to continue to be a model because I feel honored to still be working and doing great campaigns at my age of 34 and with two children." She continues, "I want to keep modeling to show that women these days are ageing beautifully and you don't need to be young to be successful. That and I would love to become an actress in the future so I will keep my fingers crossed."
So far, Lima has starred in films The Hire: The Follower in 2001 and in 2013, The Crazy One. She's also appeared as herself in television series, Ugly Betty in 2008. Anything is possible for the green-eyed beauty.
In case you weren't aware, she is the first Victoria Secret Angel to have a wax figure in full Vicki attire- wings and all - at the Madame Tussaund's Wax Museum and according to Lipstick Alley, the second Brazilian after soccer legend, Pele!
