Ryan Seacrest Confirms NOT Engaged to Renee Hall Following Rumors

Over the weekend, rumors swirled that famous American Idol host Ryan Seacrest got engaged over Thanksgiving after a woman who appeared to be his girlfriend, lingerie model Renee Hall, was seen in an airport with Seacrest and his posse sporting a massive diamond ring on THAT finger.

According to Perez Hilton, photo agencies incorrectly identified the woman as Hall. The woman in question turned out to be Sarah Much, who is engaged to Seacrest's friend, Kurt Rappaport. The group of friends were spotted at London's Heathrow Airport after spending Thanksgiving abroad together.

The mistake caused short-lived media frenzy. And although Seacrest is not engaged, Perez Hilton is reporting that he is still with Hall.

The star took to the internet today to comment on the mistake. He posted on Twitter saying:

not engaged, but man did I get a lot of credit for my buddy's fiancée...

Hall and Seacrest were first spotted out together in March of this year following his split from model Shayna Taylor. TMZ reported that the two met through mutual friends, the Marciano brothers (aka the founders of Guess).

Not much is known about Hall, but according to her website, in 2011 she was married to a man named Zachary and the two have a son together named Levi.

People reported in March that she is now a single mother who has an 8-year-old son. According to their source, the couple "get along well."

This isn't the first time Seacrest has been the subject of engagement rumors. He and actress and Dancing with the Stars alum Julianne Hough dated for three years from 2010 to 2013. They were frequently plagued with rumors of "are they or aren't they" when it came to their engagement status, as early as six months into their coupling.
