Right now, British singer Adele is on everyone's radar and 25 is currently the number one album on the Billboard 200 charts. So far since the November 20th release, she has sold over 3.38 million albums and her single, "Hello," has sold more than one million copies in a week. It could be safe to assume that the Brit will probably have the number one album in the world by the end of the year. She has already broken the Guinness Book of Records for the first female to have two singles and two albums in the United Kingdom's Top 5 charts simultaneously and 21 is the first album in United Kingdom chart history to sell $3 million worth of albums in a calendar year.

1. Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, MBE, born on May 5, 1988, started singing at the age of four. She's a talented musician who not only sings, but is a songwriter, plays the piano, keyboard, guitar, bass and percussion. She got her first break on Myspace in 2006 and was signed to XL Recordings. Her single, "Hometown Glory," was released in 2007, says Vogue.
2. Adele's mom was a single parent. The singer was enrolled at the BRIT School of the Arts and Technology and classmates were singers Jessie J and Leona Lewis, according to AXS.
3. In 2008, her first introduction to the American audience was on the televised show, Saturday Night Live, where she performed "Chasing Pavements."
4. Her song, "Skyfall," won an Oscar Award in 2013 and it is the first James Bond score to ever win the prestigious film award.
5.The Grammy Award winner has added a new bodyguard to her security team and the media is raving about the Holland native who once held the Mr. Europe title. Pulse says Peter Van Der Veen used to protect and serve fellow Grammy winner, Lady Gaga.
