USA's Donny! S01E04 I'm Middle-Aged, Married, & Coming Out Donny Deutsch, Emily Tarver Recap!

USA Network continues Season 1 of their new comedy, Donny!  In Episode 4, I'm Middle Aged, Married, and Coming Out!, creator and star Donny Deutsch (Donny himself) needs help from his producer Pam (Emily Tarver) to set the record straight.

During his talk show, Donny watches his guest talking about coming out of the closet.  As the crowd chants, "Gay Yay!," Donny's guest breaks down crying. Moved by their bravery, Donny wishes he could brave enough to say "I'm gay and I'm coming out."

Pam tells Donny that he actually came out on the his TV show. His assistants show him that the internet has him pegged with a gay lover. His daughter, Coco (Fiona Robert) and son, Jagger (Jacob Thomas Anderson), are having fun making jokes about their gay dad.

Jason, the trainer, isn't really happy with Donny. His girlfriend thinks they make a cute couple. Taking his trainer's advice, Donny has to look at gay porn as a test and figure out if he's straight.  During the night, Donny is uncomfortable looking at the racy video.

In the morning, Donny is getting tons of attention from the gay community. Getting the invites, Donny wants to ride the gay trojan horse. Coming out has been the best mistake he ever made. Even the media is giving his ego a lift.

At a nightclub, it turns out Donny is uncomfortable being hit on by so many guys. In the bathroom, Donny starts talking about the gay pivot and ends up losing his date. After a terrible night, even Jagger doesn't think his father is straight.

After making a fake ad, Donny calls up his Russian mistress. She thinks that Donny was actually faking their relationship. Donny tells Pam that the gay rumors are running his straight lifestyle.  Donny thinks the problem will be solved by getting back with his ex. 

Talking to his ex-wife, Donny wants to be seen as a scumbag. Donny makes headlines again, getting viewers to think he's bi-sexual. Unfortunately, Gawker wants any reader to share their sex story about Donny.  

After listening to his assistants, Donny is thinking of "coming in." During his show, Donny announces he is straight and hopes men can "com in."
