Neglecting the artistic dis route taken by Drake in recent hit "5 AM in Toronto", Chris Brown got straight to the point on his feelings about Drake to a crowd of clubgoers.
At the Emerson Theatre in Hollywood, Calif., Brown interrupted a DJ who was playing Drake's "Started from the Bottom." He told the DJ to kill the song and took the mic to vent his frustration at the Canadian-bred MC.
"The DJ can play this s--t, but I want you all to know, F--k Drake!" Brown reportedly yelled before giving the crowd the middle finger.
A venue rep confirmed details of the event to MTV News.
As penance for interrupting everyone's good time, Brown later performed a mini-concert with NFL running back Reggie Bush acting as hype man.
Drake recently took shots at Brown in his song 5 AM in Toronto saying "I'm just being frank with you/I mean, where you think she at when she ain't with you?" which referred to Drake's supposed relationship with Brown's current girtlfriend Rihanna.
The former Degrassi star also made fun of Brown's flagging sales saying "A couple albums dropped, those are still on the shelf/I bet them s**ts would have popped if I was willin' to help."
Drizzy capped off the lyrical beatdown with a suggestion that Brown, (who has been in several infamous altercations over the last few months including a showdown with Frank Ocean and a spat with a parking valet earlier this week), uses beefs to keep his name in the press instead of just releasing good music.
"A lot of n***as PR stuntin' like that's the movement/And I'm the only n***a still known for the music."
The Chris Brown-Drake beef started over a nightclub brawl in New York City this summer and has continued to rear its head at regular intervals ever since.
