The sci-fi drama, Humans, will return for Season 2 on AMC. Before Season 2 of Humans, readers can catch up on the first season, with Leo (Colin Morgan), synth Anita (Gemma Chan), Dr. George Millican (William Hurt), when the show hits Amazon Prime in 2016.

From our first season recaps, synth Anita (Chan) has been programmed to take care of the upper-middle-class family, known as The Hawkins. What the Hawkins do not realize is that Anita is not who she really is. Anita is part of the group of missing synths who are on the run from a gang of hunters. Not only is Leo (Morgan) looking nonstop for Anita and the others, he believes Dr. George Millican (Hurt) holds the key to discovering the missing puzzle between robots and humans.

According to Deadline, the AMC drama has an exclusive new streaming home. Endemol Shine International and Amazon will be collaborating together to bring all eight episodes to viewers. The critically acclaimed first season will be made available on Amazon Prime sometime in the spring.

Brad Beale, VP Digital Video Content Acquisition for Amazon, states, "Humans was one of this summer's top new series and is exactly the type of smart, thought-provoking shows that Prime members love. We are excited that Prime members will soon be able to experience the sci-fi drama at no additional charge."

Based on the Swedish science fiction drama Real Humans, writers Sam Vincent and Jonathan Brackley will be back for the next batch of eight episodes.
