'Empire' Season 2 Spoilers: Twitter Reacts Kaitlin Doubleday's Rhonda Lyon Finale Shocker!

Fox continues with the musical Season 2 soap opera of Empire. In last night's Episode 10, Twitter had lots to say about Rhonda Lyon (Kaitlin Doubleday)'s shocker during the twisted winter finale cliffhanger.

In the recent recap, Mimi Whiteman (Marisa Tomei) revealed she has been secretly recording Lucius's conversations and played them for the boardroom. With the help of Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray), Camilla Marks-Whiteman (Naomi Campbell) came back for sweet revenge, taking Lyon Dynasty away from Lucius. As the family got together one last time, a mysterious figure, who may or may not be Anika, pushed the pregnant Rhonda down a flight a stairs.

In an interview with TV Line, showrunner Ilene Chaiken reveals if Rhonda is still alive, "I want you to come back hoping Rhonda is alive - and thinking that she could be."

Chaiken adds if Anika is the prime suspect who pushed Rhonda down a flight of stairs, "We didn't show you a face. We know, but the world - Andre, Rhonda, the Lyons family - don't know how Rhonda wound up at the bottom of that staircase. And we want to experience this from their point of view. I'm well aware that Anika would be the prime suspect in the minds of the audience. We know we've given her some motive, but it's not an inevitable conclusion that she did it."
