Orange Is The New Black star Laura Prepon recently got a restraining order against a scary fan. The actress, along with OITNB creator Jenji Kohan filed separate protection orders against William Austin III. Both orders of protection have been granted by the courts.
After Austin wrote multiple disturbing and threatening posts on social media, both ladies took action to protect themselves from this very scary fan. Yes, friends, it was that bad that Prepon and Kohan both felt they were in danger and they determined actions should be taken.
According to court papers filed by the That 70's Show actress, Austin posted an Instagram photo of her calling the brunette beauty his wifey and friend. The caption was then followed by some emojis of an angry face, a knife, a gun and a diamond ring, which you can see below from Twitter.
Now, sure, he technically didn't threaten her by calling Prepon his wife, but using those violent emojis is way beyond creepy. Kohan's court documents also included an Instagram post, however, this time the fan allegedly posted a video that did threaten her, saying, "Get ready, violence is coming."

Thanks to the new restraining order, both Prepon and Kohan can now (hopefully) feel a little bit safer when it comes to William Austin III. The protective order states that he must stay at least 100 yards away from the actress and her family. Kohan received the exact same order. Obviously that does not stop this guy from posting inappropriate messages to either of these ladies but at least it will give them a little piece of mind.
