Holding agreements can be a pain! At least, in Margeaux Simms and girlfriend Merike Palmiste's case it rings true. TMZ reports that the Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta couple will not be able to pursue other TV work due to the shows producers not giving them their walking papers.
Simms and her androgynous model girlfriend, Palmiste, made their debut on the LHH franchise during Season 4. Everyone knows of the marriage of producer Nikko London and Simms, and we all know why they are officially calling things off. The sex tape of London and his ex-girlfriend, Mimi Faust, was too much for her to stomach. Simms decided to move on and pursue a relationship with her current partner, Palmiste.
Rolling Out reports, "The ladies weren't given a specific reason for being dropped. However, the problem is that they weren't given a release from their contracts either. Without those releases, Simms and Palmiste cannot sign on to do any other reality TV shows and are stuck in limbo."
All of this may sound a little off because, as TMZ reports, Simms and Palmist had already signed contracts to appear on the fifth season of Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta where they would explore their relationship, as well as Simms' breakup from Smith.
Reportedly, both Simms' and Palmsite's lawyers sent a nasty gram to the Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta producers three weeks ago demanding the couple be released from their contract.
Simms and Palmiste have not released statements on the matter.
