Sports Illustrated Emily Ratajkowski Models Designer Christy Dawn Petersen Dress For Charity!

Riding high off her Gone Girl box-office success, the Sports Illustrated model-turned-actress Emily Ratajkowski sure knows how to grab everyone's attention on social media. The Blurred Lines music video girl teases a new dress with designer Christy Dawn Petersen for charity.

According to Daily Caller, the brunette bombshell dropped her endorsement to Bernie Sanders for president. The We Are Your Friends supermodel let her allegiance be known in a post on her Twitter feed. Not only is the 24 year old getting political, she also reached out to designer and fellow former model Christy Dawn Petersen to work together on a dress.

In an interview with WWD, Petersen describes the collaboration, ""I let Emily take full rein on the charity of her choice because I wanted her to be really inspired to give to a charity that she was passionate about and I know she's done a lot of work with Planned Parenthood so I was definitely on board,"

On her Official Twitter account, the iCarly guest star tweets, "The Emily Dress by Christy Dawn x Emrata. My dream dress made for you, designed by us. Launching December 7"

Ratajkowski adds, "The Emily Dress by Christy Dawn x Emrata is available Monday, December 7. 25% of proceeds will go to @PPact "

The Emily dress will come in six colors and one print, made from deadstock fabric. About 100 dresses will be produced and made in downtown Los Angeles. The retail price will be on sale for $250 and the proceeds from the dress will be donated to the Planned Parenthood Action Fund. The nonprofit organization engages in education and advocacy to protect and advance women's health and rights.

As we previously mentioned, writer/director Robert Siegel currently wrapped up filming in the Big Apple for his upcoming movie, Cruise. In the plot synopsis, in the summer of 1987, Italian-American Gio Marchetti (Spencer Boldman), loves racing cars and chasing girls, but everything changes when he meets Jessica Weintraub (Ratajkowski) from Long Island.
