Looks like Moniece Slaughter's mother, Marla is one tough cookie! This mom went in and was harsh when giving advice to some of the ladies of Love & Hip Hop Hollywood. Before throwing major shade at the young women, Marla claimed that she's been in the shoes that the ladies are currently walking in.
"I have a closet full of shoes and I've worn the shoes that most women are walking in. My advice is from the heart and I feel like I can give it because I've walked it. I've lived it, I've done it, I've survived it," she declared.
She started with Nia Riley and said: "When I watch, or I see other women who have not yet found their center and understood their worth that would be a message I have for Nia."
She explained that Nia has it all and has the package. She said that Nia shouldn't "put her package in a recycle scenario. When you actually belong in a showroom on the floor."
As for Teairra Mari, Marla said: "Your uniqueness for Teairra is so much more important. Body's changed, and soul stays the same." Marla revealed that she was trainer and had some tips for Teairra to follow. "When I look at bodies what I see is their ultimate potential. My goal is always to get people to realize that about themselves. Don't get stuck on the surface...Go deep."
And then there was Amber Laura! Marla said: "I have more than advice for Amber. My advice really would go to Miles and Milan. My advice is this, don't connect what you do to who you sleep with. In other words it's ok to be you. You should be you."
Geesh. At least she's honest! But you know she had to go in on her own daughter too. Marla said that she'd rather see her daughter "with no one until she can actually get it together. That's a harsh statement to say but what I know about a relationship until you're whole a relationship is just going to keep picking away at you until you're nothing so if you can't start from a whole position then you really don't have anything to give."
Looks like she was claiming that some times these ladies don't have any common sense when she said: "I approach things with a level of common sense, period."
Welp, do you agree with what she said? Does mama know best? That is one harsh, blunt lady right?
