Robert Pattinson Heartbreak? FKA Twigs Wedding Off, 'Traditional' Family Engagement Threat

Robert Pattinson's finally ready to tie the knot and settle-down with FKA Twigs. But what's now holding him back from making such a huge commitment?

Apparently, Pattinson's family still has some major concerns about Twigs' rather eccentric lifestyle. Supposedly the "Twilight" heartthrob's loved ones didn't approve of him dating Kristen Stewart, either - will they now ruin his relationship with the "Pendulum" songstress? They initally hoped to exchange vows by the New Year...

"Robert and Twigs were supposed to get married this year. That was the plan, but his indecision over the situation has caused a delay," an alleged insider tells the popular gossip webloid HollywoodLife.com. Instead, his family "planted a seed in his head, questioning whether Twigs is the right person he should be settling down with."

But if the 29-year-old British actor's so happy, why would they ruin such a blossoming romance? Well, the snitch reveals that his close kin are still "quite traditional," and "would want a church wedding." And right now, "Rob doesn't want such a fuss." So he's allegedly put everything on hold.

So what must Twigs now think?

"[She's] happy to go along with what he wants... She's laid back about the whole affair."

Yet time's still ticking!

"He just wants to make sure everyone in his family is on the same page," the same insider explains. "It's like, even after all this time, he still has to convince them that Twigs is the right girl for him."

Thankfully, there's still hope:

"Friends that know the pair, and how much Rob and Twigs care about each other, believe they will eventually walk down the aisle," the source concludes. "They can't put a timescale on it because Rob is just so flaky about that. It'll happen when it happens."

Funny enough, OK! magazine earlier reported that the Pattinson crew actually LOVE Twigs!

"Whether life partners or husband and wife, Rob and Twigs have their massive love of music in common and that's one of the defining features of this very intense relationship. Rob loves making music with her and learning from her... It's actually made him into a much better person than he was when he was with Kristen, because it's opened up this whole creative outlet for him," the insider explained. "Rob is very open about telling people that this is the woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with and his family couldn't be more happier about it."
