Country singer Taylor Swift has revealed her liking for hip hop and fancies collaborating with one of the best names in the industry - rapper Eminem.
She said that she wants to do a song with the Detroit rapper as she feels that hip hop is honest music, ''I love hip-hop so much. There's something so honest about it,'' reported Instyle magazine.
When asked if she is likely to do a song with the 40-year-old rapper who has had a successful career as a rapper, ''Nobody wants to hear me rap but I'd sing a chorus for someone for sure. I would sign up for that in a heartbeat.''
Swift has a clean image, minus any cuss words in her music and she does admit that if she presents a different image her fans might be shocked but asserts that she has complete freedom in what she writes in her music.
''I don't have a big scary management situation where I have to ask them. If I wrote a song called 'F**k' I think people would kind of raise their hand and go, like, 'Maybe swear less?' But I just don't really feel the need to swear in my music,'' she said.
Taylor Swift Earns More Than Justin Bieber
If you though pop icon Justin Bieber was earning more than most then give such thoughts a pause as there are other artists who are earning more than him. Parade magazine has rolled out its "What People Earn" jobs survey. The survey included incomes of some artists.
Swift last year earned $57 million besting Bieber by $2 million. She was the top third highest earning woman in the entertainment industry, after Oprah Winfrey and Britney Spears.
Reveals Reason Why She Wrote Mean Songs On Boyfriends
The 23-year-old singer of "Mean" revealed the reasons for her writing mean songs about her previous boyfriends like John Mayer and Joe Jonas.
"I've never thought about songwriting as a weapon. I've only thought about it as a way to help me get through love and loss and sadness and loneliness and growing up," she explained to Vanity Fair about how she deals with her break-ups that eventually result in hit songs.
She also explained her creative flow while she is writing a song, "When I write songs it's never a conscious decision - it's an idea that floats down in front of me at four in the morning or in the middle of a conversation or on a tour bus or in a mall or in an airport bathroom."
