Do you believe in Santa Claus? Well, if you do, let's pray you're not like Ryan Gosling and Vanessa Bayer during last night's Saturday Night Live "Santa Baby" sketch. Because, well, that'd make Christmas insanely terrifying.

Gosling appeared alongside Bayer as two grown-up believers attending a Christmas party after moving to a new town. And while Beck Bennett prepped himself to have Santa Claus come downstairs to greet the kids, it appears Bayer and Gosling weren't in on the memo...

(...that Santa may or may not be real.)

The whole sketch plays like some sort of thriller film, with Bayer appearing to get off at Gosling's badass-ness as he scares the hell out of Bennett, urging him to bring Santa Claus downstairs. Throughout the entire sketch, Gosling brings back his Murder by Numbers type personality to take control of the party and scare the wits out of everyone in attendence, as one does during the holiday season.

When Santa finally does show up – played by a now horrified Bennett – it appears the psychopathically twisted couple can't contain themselves.

Because of that, we're guessing they probably wont' be invited to another party in town.

Gosling stopped by Saturday Night Live to host with musical guest Leon Bridges. The actor is prepping for the Dec. 23 release of his newest film, The Big Short. The film stars Gosling alongside Christian Bale, Brad Pitt and Steve Carell as a quartet of "outsiders" who reportedly discover the big banks greed that ultimately leads to the mid-2000s budget crisis.

You remember that, right? #Ugh...
