R&B singer Justin Timberlake's performance at the "Saturday Night Live" has earned positive remarks with the Rolling Stone praising him for his "amazing timing both comically and musically." Timberlake took this opportunity to hit back slyly at rapper Kanye West.
Timberlake changed the lyrics of his new single "Suit & Tie" from "Aww, s**t so sick, got a hit and picked up a habit" to "my hit's so sick, got rappers acting dramatic," MTV News reported.
West had dissed Timberlake in London saying "I got love for Hov, but I ain't f**king with that 'Suit & Tie.'"
The feud has put Jay-Z in an uncomfortable situation as he too is part of Timberlake's comeback album. West and Jay-Z have released a joint album titled, "Watch the Throne" and they will be touring together in summer 2013.
Timberlake was comfortable both hosting the show and being the musical guest at the "Saturday Night Live." He was joined by Steve Martin, Tom Hanks and Alec Baldwin for the Five Timers Club.
Timberlake was a former member of boy band 'N Sync and later went on to roll out solo albums. He had taken a musical hiatus in 2010 as he concentrated on improving his acting skills. He will be releasing his new album, "The 20/20 Experience," March 19. Two singles from the album, "Suit & Tie" and "Mirrors," are already released. This year he performed at the BRIT Awards, Super Bowl and also at the 55th Annual Grammy Awards.
